The following is a quick guide to get the most out of your Mars-Hydro LED grow light.
- Use a good quality power outlet. The light will not work properly with a bad power source.
- Do not use the light if the power cord is damaged or if the power outlet does not grip the plug’s prongs firmly.
- Ensure that the building’s electrical system (current, voltage and cabling) meets the requirements of the light. A stable voltage is very important.
- The light must be plugged into a three-prong grounded power outlet for safety.
- The light is not waterproof and must not be splashed with water or dropped in water in any way.
- Do not look at the light directly with the naked eye.
- The recommended operating temperature is 20˚C to 35˚C with humidity below 80%.
- The light must not be exposed to corrosive materials or be used in a corrosive environment. This includes, but is not limited to, sulphur.
- The light is for indoor use only.
- Do not touch the surface of the light while the light is powered on.
- Do not use the light during thunderstorms or if the possibility of a lightning strike exists.
- Insects and small animals are attracted to the light when in use and precautions need to be taken to avoid contact.
